Happy-ness

I went to 1 Utama with Sunitaa... Haven't been out with her in a long time. I saw someone there... someone that I least expected to see. But who cares?? I don't. Me and Sunita were gonna see a movie but they were all kinda late. So we walked around, had something to eat at Mc Donalds. I followed Sunita around and she followed me around so we ended up walking around in circles. She bought a bag and a pencil box, I bought school stuff.

I don't know why but I feel so happy... One of the reasons would most probaly be that

I GOT A NEW BABY SISTER!!!! YEEHAW...!!

YEAP, RHONWYN GOT A NEW LITTLE SISTER.

REGINA MARION PAIN HAGEDORN.

And just to let you know "Pain" is pronounced as "Pine".

I can't wait to see her. Shes all the way in Sabah so I'll fly out there on her full-moon.

I got a new little sister...

lalalalala

dum-de-dumm-dumm.

boo....

I'm happy... yeah. I'm happy. Good to be happy.

Not happy?? Try to be. Theres always something to be happy about, even in those really dark times. Like some people say "The darkest hours are those just before dawn" and this one that Ming Yue told me that really helped me a lot. "Tough times don't last, tough people do". Always be happy, because if you're happy you make others happy. If you're sad you make others worried. Don't be sad... be happy. Smile. =D

Happy playing in the rain.... me.

Hari Anugerah Cemerlang '08

Well well... Hari Anugerah Cemerlang. Sadly, I didn't get one. I just went there for choir performance and take photo's for JU. I want a anugerah. I just don't know where I can excell in... i'm not really study material, so highest marks for any subject of my form is out. D= I'm still thinking. And once I know where I excell in, I promise to do really well. I want a anugerah.

Anyway, we/choir sang Negaraku school song and Hari Ini. The 2nd time choir went on stage was to sing Berjaya and Tanah Pusaka. Sadly I didn't sing those 2 song 'cause I didn't know the lyrics for Tanah Pusaka... but I videotaped them. Maybe upload them onto Youtube once I get my memory card back from Sarah... =D

After all the speeches, the VIP's did the launching of our school website. www.geocities.com/smkbu1/

Its kinda plain... not much to see... probably 'cause its still new.... no photos either. Even Wiki gives more info on our school than the website. But when you go onto the school website, the beginning is kinda cool. Go see lah.

The performaces were nice... I liked the Muslim percussion band thinggy.... Nasyid, if I didn't mispell that. They were cool. I loved the percussion. So I was like, paying more attention to the percussionists at the back than the singers in the front. They were awesome. One of the dances was a malay song, malay dancers and half-way during the song Chinese Fan Dancers. The Form 1 Choir was so cute! They did choral speaking and then sang one song. This years Form 1 choir I think is better, 'cause they have parts, the Alto's, Soprano's... we didn't have those last year when we were Form 1. And we didn't perform for Hari Anugerah Cemerlang...

When the anugerahs were given out halfway, my camera ran out of memory. Yaks. Probably 'cause I videotaped the choir. Never mind ahh... Just so long as there were 4 other photographers we were fine.

The occation ended at abut 12.

Into another world

These past few days I've been glued to reading. I bring a book to school and read... and read... and read. Reading is actually one way to put my mind off of stress. Theres just been so much going on, that I just wanna put everything behind, leave this world and drift into someone else's. And thats why I read. I read a lot of good books that make my mind drift into the world of the book... and its such a cool feeling. You tend to forget your surroundings. And all you see is the story, the characters of the story, the surroundings of the story. You feel the sadness if something unhappy is in the story and you feel joy if a certain group had won victory.

The only problem is that... when I do read in school... its hard to find a peaceful spot... 'cause theres always someone who would go "Oh Look!! Rhonwyn is reading again, lets go scare her..!" and then, yeah, they BOO me and I jump. They laugh, I almost get a heart attack. =S

Sometimes people tell me "Aiya Rhonwyn... you ah, everyday oso reading, like that no good you know... no social life lah, must go find a leng zhai!!". Yeah, yeah... no social life, find a leng zhai... ZZZZ. " DO you like any guy now??" some ask me. -.- Read my previous post... so what if the lovey-dovey hoo-haa around me makes me sick... if I read a lot and don't "socialise"... You don't have to know if I like someone or not.. its none of your business to know.

I don't lack a social life... I'm perfectly normal. Its just that I love to read and I don't see any problem with that.

So why don't people read much these days?? I did a survey with the boys in class the other day... 50% gave me and answer " Because reading is boring... all you do is see words! Computer games are fun... you not only have fun but you exercise your fingers". The other 50% gave me the answer "Huh??". Riight. And when I asked the girls... they mostly said... "I think reading is ok...". In class, a lot of students, well... most students.. or 95% of the students in class talk if theres a substitute teacher who enters class. Only 3 or 4 of us in the class actually read.

Why don't people read? Haih. Lazy-ness. Well one day they'll go to college and will have to start reading...

And for ok ok poeple to start reading, I recommend Enid Blyton... shes the author who gave me this hobby
For noobs.. I recommend Ladybird books..
For super-noobs, I recommend Barney and Sesame Street.

Just joking-lah.

S.I.R Spelling Bee @ Subang Parade '08

Today was Spelling Bee..... and Fathers Day. My dad is in Singapore, so I couldn't celebrate with him. =C Well if you are reading this, dad.... Happy Daddy's Day. =P
Anyway today was Spelling Bee... Organised by the News Straits Time Press and RHB Bank. Abigail, Michelle, Sarah and me were representing SMKBU. Sarah's mom took us there and we circled the block like... 5 times trying to find the best way in. Haha.
We registered with Cik Malathi then Sarah's mom belanja us makan pagi at Coffee Bean. After the spelling bee briefing we started... woot.
So onstage there were 16 chairs. So 4 schools for 1 group. One school has 4 participants. When your name is called you go to the front of the stage, put the headphones on so you don't hear the mall surroundings, only the presenters voice.
Everytime a word was given, those of us who were offstage started spelling along for practice... But of course not to loud lahh... otherwise the judges would think we were helping the dude who has to spell the word onstage. Abi and Sarah went off with a dictionary to practice away from the square. Michelle and I went off with our dictionary to practice to.. We circled the whole mall and then we saw Sarah and Abi running to us like mad cows making hand signals to go back to the spelling bee area. Michelle and I thought that our turn was coming up... but then I heard one of the judges say "SMK Bandar Utama... where are you?". Then only me and Michelle start to run like mad cows to.
We were all so freakin' scared onstage. I was shivering. Lol. Sarah made it to the 2nd round, so did Michelle. Abi and I were kicked out after our first word. Gahh.... so sad!! Abi's word was "Pallion" but she spelled it "Pallian". My word was "Petulant" but I spelled it with a double "T"... so it would be "Pettulant"..
gAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....
Salah
salah
salah
salah
salah
salah
salah
adui.

I'm never gonna forget "Petulant" for the rest of my life!!

Anyway... the 12 finalists went onstage after all 12 groups were done. The top 3 winners were all boys. The winner was from SMKBU2... suprisingly. I think he's Form 4.... He looks mix but he isn't lol. That guy is gonna represent Selangor in the National Spelling Bee compotition so good luck to him. His dad must've been really proud of him. He came to see his son compete on Fathers Day... How nice.
I was suprised that SMKDU, SMKDJ and SMKBU3 didn't show up. Chong Hua came and so did a few Sekolah Agama's. Cool. We all recieved a free notebook and a certificate of participation. Yay!! We also got marks for Koko 'cause we represent school.

Petulant

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th. A day I don't really care about... Anyway this is a random post and not really about Friday the 13th.

Love is in the air, isn't it? Its so strong that you can smell it. And of course, see it. Its everywhere. More than people. More than all the dust particles you have on your shelves. Its scary. Its everywhere.... I mean, EVERYWHERE...

I can't stand it. I can't stand seeing love. No.... Not the love of parents and siblings... No. Not that type of love. I mean like couples love. You see couples everywhere!! EVERYWHERE. They make me sick. I mean it. SICK. Everytime I see one I always have this emotional thing overcome me, so I look away and continue doing whatever I was doing. Its hard in shopping malls, 'cause theres one everywhere you look. Turn your head to the left, theres one. Turn to the right, another one. In front, another one. Down, none. So look down, people think your a emo, and you start banging into people 'cause you can't see in front. Well, not you can't see in front. Its just that you don't want to, 'cause there are couples EVERYWHERE.

Same goes to restaurants, blogs, profiles, shops, books, and worse,... school. School... woot. Why school, I don't know. All I know is that when one comes by, ( no offence ), I always roll my eyes. They probably don't see it. But I do it. All 3 races have couples... Malay, Chinese and Indian. Why do you wanna pak toh in school?? Heloo.... this is a place for education, people. Its like almost everyone has a someone. Haha... To bad for me. I don't want a someone now. Currently, I'm SICK of it. Woot.

They
make
me
sick.

Thank you for reading and you don't have to bother posting any comment about this post. Its all junk anyway, right?

Report Card Day

Hmm. Report card day. To bad no one could come to take my report card. Cik Salawati wouldn't let me see my scores eventhough I pleaded her. I don't even know my placing in class.
I brought my guitar to school today. 2 Bersih moved to the Bilik Tayangan 'cause the Form 3's had some motivasi thing, again. Then after recess the Form 5's had one. ZzZzZzZzZ. I don't understand why must they have so many motivasi things. Like what, once every month?? From my point of view, motivasi things are kinda useless.
They come in and then give a talk, tell you to study harder, change yourself before changing others, maybe do some fun stuff and then leave. After that you would feel like "Wow... that guy is right" And then a few weeks ( or days ) later you forget the whole thing. The PMR and SPM students should be studying more instead of having all these talks. When I reach Form 3 I would study at home than come to school and listen to someone talk the whole day about changing myself before changing others.
When no more parents came to our class Cik Salawati went crazy with my camera. I had like ... 77 pictures taken today. Probably less than 20 were taken by me. The rest Cik Salawati was snapping away like crazy and laughing when she got a good shot. Wai Lup came to my class and started playing my guitar. He can't play any song exept for " Wake Me Up When September Ends". Maybe he DOES know another song but didn't play it. So I was basically hanging out with Wai Lup the whole day.

Pics.

>Why Me?<

This 2 week holiday was a busy one. And it was also really stressful. Some of my NiE members really were the last straw for me, so I got so mad I called off our holiday meeting. Now we're back in school doing everything last minute. And I also have some small problems that are causing me so much stress.
Whats worse is on the first day of school I got gastric, again. And for a while I was completely fine, and now it comes back to me again?? WTF. My gastric was so bad on Monday that I actually fainted in class. Brian was the first to jump up and slap my face... heh. He, Paul and James had to lift me back to my place. Those 3 guys kept asking me if I was ok, but I couldn't speak. I had to go to the Bilik Rawatan to sleep. Nicole stayed with me. After recess the same 3 guys came to see if I was doing alright. Nice to have friends who actually care about me.
On the first day to, Johnson didn't tell anyone that he switched schools to DJ. So sad!! Its like, now our class is missing someone, which we are. Johnson is one of my good friends and its sad that he switched schools... I don't exactly know why, but Brian said that some of us are the wrong friends for him. He said Tzer Haw's mom spotted Johnson and Chun Hin in the CC. =C This would be kinda weird to say but I'm gonna miss the big guy.
Today Tuesday, I had gastric again. I didn't wanna come today but I guess I had to 'cause our NiE meeting was postponed till today. I didn't faint in class but I went to the Bilik councelling to find Pn. Wong 'cause Pn. Mani told me to. I waited for Pn. Wong and eventually fell asleep for 3 hours on the chairs. I could hear Tzer Xiang come in with Sarah and Ming Yue. One of the boys asked what happened to me. Sarah told them I got gastric and I fainted yesterday.
When I woke up Ming Yue came to see if I was ok and he gave me pre-councelling. I told him my problems and he said " Tough times never last, but tough people do." Thanks Ming Yue... That pre-councelling really helped me. =D
Pn Wong and I had a talk and I went back to class. Everything was ok after that. I wanna skip school tomorrow larh... but best not too... I already missed school so many times. =S

I'm trying not to cry
I just want them to be happy
They were made for each other
I'm trying to move on
But its just so hard to do
God please help me

Stressed

Ish... coming back from Sabah after a visit was nice... but theres just so much to do now.... I'm busy the whole week and I got a lot of stuff thats needs taking care of.
My NiE members are one... some are not sure if they can make it for meetings and some don't cooaperate... Why does this have to fall on the holidays anyway?? Stupid NiE... gives people so much trouble organizing 'cause at least 3 people from the team will be away for holiday and nothing can be done...
My mom's website also needs some polishing up 'cause I'm the only one who knows how to upload the pics onto the website... her staff keeps complaining they're to old to learn anything... ish...
Besides that I still got some other stuff thats maiking me feel stressed out now... or sad. I'm absolutely not free this last week of school holidays and besides NiE its compulsory for all the JU members to submit an article for the school magazine... and that takes time... Pn.Lee said no poems... I have to write a story 'cause my story year was good... =O What to write about?? zzzz
I got 3 drumcircles this week. Oh yeah which reminds me

GREEN DAY @ TMN TUN PARK
ORGANIZED BY THE STAR NEWSPAPER

Sabah

Just got back from a nice weekend at Sabah. Its always nice out there. Dogs, cats, swimming pool, spacious field... wow. And its not those 5 star hotels... its like a farm out there and thats whats nice. Its good to be away from busy KL life, handphone and internet. So of course when I get back to KL I got like... 90 emails waiting for me after 4 days. Another thing I noticed about Sabah is that almost everyone has a dog or two... and there are a lot of roundabouts in Sabah. Its like every 1 kmyou pass by a roundabout. The other thing about Sabah is that everyone is RELATED =O. I met the head chef in the Royal Mulu Resort, Nelson, and he said he's from Penampang to. I was talking with Amanda and she metioned Nelson's surname... aish. Not hard to find a relative in Sabah. Everyone is family.
Jessie names all our dogs and cats out there in Sabah. Mommy cat is named Minnie and her kittens are Ginger and Basil. The dogs I think Jessie named the smartest... David Archuletta, David Cook, Chikizie and Syesha... the american idol contestants.. hehe. Shes smart. I like those names for a dog.

When me and my dad got to Sabah we chilled for a few hours... then at night we went to one of the neighbours housewarming party... Everyone was sitting down chatting. After food some of the guys sumazau-ed with his wife, and after that he tagged a guy and a girl messing with their handphones to do the sumazau... and its tradition that when you do the sumazau, you drink alcohol. The guys got beer and the girls got a shot of wine. I got tagged... I don't really know how to sumazau so the guy who danced first with his wife.. who was also the guy tagging everyone danced with me. Haha... but that was fun. He was in his 60s. I got 2 shots of wine while sumazau-ing and my dad gave me 2 extra shots. Funny that I didn't feel light-headed. I was completely normal. =S

2nd day Amanda and Adam came over and we hung around the house. At 4 the 3 of us, plus dad, Aunty Terry and Jessie went to the beach. To bad it rained. And we stopped for Slurpees at 7-11 put the machine broke. There was a nice rainbow in the sky afterwards.

3rd day Aurelia and Alicia came. We went out to Tahantang... where the spacious field is... and where grandpa keeps fish ponds. Hung around there the whole afternoon and then at night the whole family including uncle Winston's girlfriend went to Seafood restaurant which was gooooodddd.... =D

On our last day we left for the airport. =S
