8th KL Leo Club Joint Installation

23rd August 2008



Today was the 8th KL Leo Clubs Joint Installation held in the SMK Confucian Private Secondary School. I was going to be installed as Community Service Director 2008/2009. =D We were supposed to meet at the Kelana Jaya LRT station at 5.45 am sharp which was absolutely ridiculous. Dad dropped me there and the only ones there were Khai, Adelynn and her mom.... So we waited.....

Jash came, then Nikkil, Abigail, Aaron and a few others. Adelynn, Abi and me boarded the LRT first. Then we waited for the guys 'cause they had to wait for Matt. All of us got into 3 cars. Jash, Nikk, Adelynn and me in one car. Off we went to SMK Confucian.


We were in charge of setting up the chairs and stuff like that. The rest of the Form 2's came. (my ppl!!). Okay... we registered. Got our vests... sat down. SMK Kepong sold us some badges. 2 for 10 ringgit. SMKDU's badges were the most expensive... 2 for 16 ringgit... =O. All of us got a free official badge for today's event. =D


So the event went on..... The stage coordination for the installing of the B.O.D was really messy. First here then there. In the end, SMKBU was standing under the air con. OMG!! so cold! And here we thought our vests would keep us warm. Pfft.... After installation was entertainment!!



First performance,

Third performance,
OUR VERY OWN ROJAK TRIO DANCE!! xD The same trio Matt, Jash and Aaron who danced for our Leo gathering in school... but this time they changed the dance a little bit. I like this one better than the last. You guys rock! xD


Fourth Performance,
SMKDU band performance. I liked the way they set up the stage... =D





After that we could go down to eat... Finally!! We hung around with some of the DU people. Collected a few name cards. =D

We were in charge of cleaning the area to, so thats what we did. Then we all went home. Some of us took the Monorail, then took the LRT to Kelana Jaya LRT.

Twilight

When Sunita first told me about the book Twilight, she didn't mention anything about it having vampires, werewolves and a hell lot of romance. She just said that I "had to read it" and that Edward Cullen was hot. (she didn't metion he was a vampire...)

I thought the book would be one of those usual American girl teenage love novels that include a hell lot of clothes shopping... prom... nail polish... boys... yak yak yakkkk.... the usual Lizzie McGuire type of novel thing. The book cover I pictured it to be a pink backround with the tittle "Twilight" in shinny silver and shinny silver stars all over the book and the book cover picture was a tiara or something like that.

And after so many of my girl friends telling me Edward Cullen was hot... I had to see for myself. I borrowed Sunita's book and boy was I suprosed that the book cover was the total opposite.

Okay... so now I'm reading Twilight. And all I can say about Edward Cullen is that he seems to be a handsome character, not hot. Seems like a romantic type of person... hmm....

I don't know about you guys 'cause thats what I think about him. Anyways... I haven't finished the book yet. In just a few hours I'm already at pg 200-something. By tomorrow or so I bet i can finish the book... then we move on to the next book... New Moon.

So yeah. Thats my first part of my book review for Twilight.

OMG!! Sorry I haven't updated in such a long time!!

There were past events that I didn't blog about... sucks. There was Brian's birthday that we celebrated after school in the canteen in the pouring rain. The school actually got flooded!! Everyone walked around barefoot. So fun! I love heavy rain in school. I know, weird. But hey, thats me. =D I love rain and theres nothing you can do about it!! HaHa!!

There hasn't been any pictures to... I left my camera battery in Sabah when I went out there for my new little sister Regina's full moon celebration. Shes such an ADORABLE little one month old baby! OMG! And I'm the proud big sister! xD So yeah, no battery no pictures.

Life's been pretty normal... yeah. Now its a Thurday of the school holidayyys... Tomorrow I got a drum circle at VADS!! And then on Saturay is the LEO Joint Installation =D I promise to blog about that! Don't worry. By then I'll have my cam back.
