Leon's Birthday/Christmas party.

On Christmas Day, Leon had a party. So yeah, I was invited. I went in Didi's car since I had no idea how to get to his place.

Leon's house is HUGE. @.@ Fish pond, swimming pool, nice garden. Very spacious. Wish I had a house like his lol. Damm nice. Okieeee.... so....

Leon invited a lot of guys for his birthday, pretty obvious, didn't think he would invite many girls. We went up to Leon's room. Big room as well but super COLD!! OMG. My legs were practically freezing. So out of all the dudes he invited, I only knew Reuben. Sad. But the good thing was that some of the guys were really friendly and they shook hands with me and introduced themselves. You don't see guys like that nowadays. So rare... @.@

Leon had 5 birthday cakes all to himself, but only 3 were displayed. lol. They were all ice cream cakes... @.@

Leon opened his presents in his room, he got a lot of cash as well from relatives. Lucky guy. @.@

We even played truth or dare. Farneee la. We had no idea what to dare people or ask them the truth, so we ended up asking stupid things like, "Do you like my brother?" or "Kiss the floor". I kena dare once, and the guys were asking me to do stupid things like do a bridge, which I can't anymore 'cause I lost my flexibilty. XD There were more stupid things that I was asked to do, but whatever la, in the end my dare was to stick my finger in my mouth.... ssssssssswwwwwwwttttttttttttttt....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >_< -.- lollololololololololollloll.

Ritee.... at 12.30 or so I left with Didi, and all the guys went to Mid Valley for some party there. They asked me to go, but I wanted to go home and sleep. Out of 6 guys excluding Leon and Reuben I remembered Rabin, Kenneth and Adrian, the nice guys who introduced themselves. XD

Christmas Eve Party!

Christmas eve!! The day before Christmas!! Yay!!!

So today there was a Christmas eve party at my house! Yippeee! First time the family organized a Christmas party... So lets start from the beginning of the day.

Ying Soon came at 11.30 to give me tuition but instead we went to 1 Utama to drop off some baskets at InQBox. Had to rearrange all the baskets in the cubicle thing again and sign whatever return form.... yish. Then we went to find Pik Kei to ask her to come for the Christmas dinner.

Came home and had tuition, then the 2 of us went to Tesco to buy foodstuff for tonight. We spent 1 hour circling the vegetable section... We couldn't find lemons, and when we asked the counter lady she showed us a box with a picture of a lemon on it, but there were no lemon's in it. Swt.

We came back and started to cook. Ying Soon, next time use a fork to peel hot potatoes, ok? It makes more sence.

Sue Ann came early so she helped a little as well. Sorry no pics of cooking, 'cause if I took pics my mom will tell me " Stop taking pictures! Help me here now!!!!" lols. So... here's the pics!!

Yeashh.... so I went to Johor Bahru recently to stay at my cousin's place for the weekend... Me and my aunt drove there... And the whole time we were listening to the American Top 40... hahha... Rigghhttt.... so anyway, the main reason why I went to JB was for some motivational-prepare-you-for-exams-talk.... We get these type of things in school all the time.... so it was sort of pointless for my uncle to pay so much money for me and my 3 cousins to go... But whatever la... it was kinda nice... we were in the Crystal Crown hotel.... the food there was kinda weetarrded.... but the good thing was that we had confortable chairs and it was easy to see the powerpoints... not like the ones in school.... about 100 of us crowded in the dewan and you gotta crane your neck to see the powerpoint if your dwarf heighted like me. hahahhahahhhahhah. There were a few times I felt like sleeping... but to keep myself awake I started drawing.

Pik Kei you were my inspiration for one of the drawings, and I think its pretty obvious which one. XD

Right.... so lets get to the title of this blog post. Cam whorin' in the miao miao city. Since we were in JB, might as well go to the miao miao city to see how many cats we could find, maybe bring one home.... Hahah... so here's me and my 2 cousins cam whorin on the fruit farm road... or Orchard road... lol. XD

Not only did I feel like a tourist in my own country, but I even LOOKED like one. Well, that's pretty obvious.... so anyway, the reason for the title is 'cause recently I went to Penang for a short holiday...

"cause like.... whats a month and a half school holiday for when you don't even go on a holiday?!?!?!?!!?!??!?! XD

Ok Ok enough of that.

So the objective of me and my dad going to Penang was he had to work for a day.... and we were also there for the Penang Jazz Festival!! Personally, I'm not a big fan of Jazz, but I thought going for the Jazz Festival would be awesome, and to get a taste of a different variety in music.

Day 1

Day 1 in Penang was shopping day. My dad had to go somewhere to work.... so I stayed in the hotel room watching Disney channel. lol. Then my friend Tammy came and we left to go eat... She took me to the 'g' hotel and they had this really big buffet.... omg!! So nice! I had 4 or 5 rounds. @.@ Sorry Yings. XD

We went to Gurney Plaza... There wasn't much we could shop for there... kinda empty. But some of the stuff were rediculous... and some of their English was also rofl material.

The baby cafe..... riiiigghhtttt....

Hair bind... told you they have superb English. XD

We drove down to Intel where my dad was, then we went to Queensbay. My dad left me and Tammy to do our own shopping. Or more like we both ditched my dad somewhere and continued our shopping spree. Hahahahhahaha... Queensbay had more variety but unfortunately we didn't have enough time.... =(

Tammy drove us to our new hotel somewhere near Batu Feringghi, called the Hydro Majestic hotel. Dad called it HydroMatic and I called it Hydroelectric. There was nothing really 'hydro' about it.... just the sign had a mini water fountain... and nothing really majectic about it, but it was a nice looking hotel with a nice room. So why it was named Hydro Majestic I have no idea.

Day 2

Today was Jazz Festival day. But that didn't start until 6... so we spent the day at the beach and the pool. The Hydromatic hotel had a nice breakfast buffet... there was roti canai!! There were a lot of birds watching us eat... unfortunately they weren't nice looking birds like Magpies... We got crows. So they sat there.... watching us eat... and after the people eat they come down and pick up the scraps on the floor and stuff like that. Pretty normal. Unfortunaely some birds weren't as patient.

You see that roti canai the crow has...? Thats mine. I left the table to get orange juice, and when I came back my roti canai was missing. A similar incident happened to me when I was 5.... a crow stole my KFC chicken drumstick.... hahah.

The Jazz Festival was really awesome. I'm so happy I went that I can't put it into words. There were a few bands that I thought were the best. But the best best band was this Hungarian band that closed the show. They rocked my socks. They're bass player was AMAZING. Omg.... He was so hardcore/awesome/awesome/awesome and awesome that words can't explain how awesome he was. The best bass player of the best. The dude who did the intro of the band even spoke a few Malay words, and that made the audience really happy. Their fiddle player was also the best of the best. Both he, the bass player and also the drummer did hardcore awesome awesome solos.

The band also had a guest guitar player.... a guitar legend/hero... Steve Hacket! For those of you who don't know him, he's from the band Genesis.... and if you know Phil Colins, he was also in Genesis before he went solo... And if you don't know Phil Colins, he sang the song You'll Be In My Heart for the Disney movie Tarzan. And if you don't know Tarzan, forget it. So anyway, Steve Hacket was there and he played with the Hungarian band. I don't know the name of the band tho. Wish I did. They were awesome... yes, I know I said that many times, but they are!! For those who didn't go, you missed out a really good night. I hope to go back next year. =D

Day 3

Today was our last day in Penang.... At breakfast something really funny happened. A picture explains it all.

We had a drum circle today, but me and my dad weren't facilitating.... we just went there to play. Today's circle was conducted by Edwin and Paul...

Today we went to the Penang Museum.... it was kinda small... but ok ok la. There were some interesting displays there and they also had a section about Francis Light. His grave was nearby the museum and me and my dad wanted to go have a look... but Tammy didn't want to. =( To bad.... 'cause then we could see how old all the gravestones are and stuf like that, and see rnacis Light's grave.... that would be awesome!!!! So here are som interesting stuff in the museum...

Here's something I noticed. The Indian wife on the left is standing and the man is sitting. The Chinese man is standing and his wife is sitting. And the Malay couple are both sitting down. hahha.

Eyka's Surprise Birthday Party

OMG I haven't updated in a while!!! Sorry peeps. XP

Wokayyyy........... So on Monday we celebrated Eyka's birthday at Kim's house. Ying's came to pick me up and we left for the party blah blah blah.... we went to kacau Jia Shen at Mc D... he was studying for SPM.... haahahhaa.....


Me and Yings got to Kim's place and we all had to hide our shoes somewhere in the shoe rack so Eyka wouldn't see them.... Wonder how she didn't notice Ying's shoes.... @.@ OMG he's got big feet!!!!! XD

So those who came today... There was Grace, JT and JG, Hui Leng, Yings, me, Kim and the b day girll....

Kim went to get Eyka and the rest of us stayed in Kim's room hoping that the cake sitting on my lap wouldn't melt. We waited I don't know how long for Kim to come back.... and when he did he rang the doorbell and some of us were like, is that Roy or is it Kim??? But we heard Eyka's voice and all of us were panicking trying to get the candles lit. Just in time lol... Eyka came in and we all jumped out from random places shouting SURPRISE!!








After blowing out the candles we all went back downstairs to eat the cake... Don't know what flavour it was but it was nice... =D Sat around and took some pics. So random... haha.

I brought my Twister set along and OMG that was awesome! We all got so Twisted. It was funny 'cause we are all a bunch of fat butts standing on these small circles.... lololololollololol. Eyka was cheating... instead of calling the colour and foot/hand that she spun on the board she'd spin and call out something else to make it more difficult. But it was her birthday, so let her do what she wants, right??

After 3 long rounds we all got tired... hahaha... so back to Kim's room we went and watched a movie. It was supposed to be a scary movie... but when you watch it with friends its not that scary afterall.... we even joked about the movie. Haha. So none of us had nightmares... right Grace?? XD
