Drumcircle at the Curve!!!

Yesterday a drumcircle at PWTC... and today a drumcircle at The Curve!! Yay!! Was at home the whole day staring at the ceiling... haha. I overslept until about 1 pm.... WOW... Maybe 'cause I was up late on MSN last night...

Me and my dad packed the drums... and we were off to The Curve. One of the Drum facilitators who attended the training this year, Pei Ting, met me and my dad and helped to take the drums to the circle...

Besides the drumcircle, this was also the Asian Beat Grand Finals... The winning local band gets to go to Taiwan ( If I can remember) to compete with the winners of Indonesia... Taiwan.... so on.

Set up the drumcircle and we started drumming... My dad kept asking on-lookers to come in and drum... some didn't and some did. We had a full circle in no time. My dad facilitated first. Then Kumar....Kumar made everyone rumble (drumroll) and he made it sooo loud and fast, how did he do it? Stomp around...hehe. Then Pei Ting... who made the beat slower by walking around in circles bending like an old person.. and made the beat faster by running... Then me... At first I was a little scared to facilitate... but I did. I did rumble, made it softer, then louder.

Then I facilitated again. I made everyone stop and pulled out a few people to play. Then everyone play agian.

My dad facilitated to... They all liked what my dad did... He made the beat really soft... and stoped it by clenching his fist so as if the beat was in his hand. Then he threw an imaginary thing into the air and made everyone do a rumble (drumroll). Everyone laughed....

When that was over... everyone was having to much fun to stop. But sorry... they had to leave... This was one of the best public circles we have done yet... really had a lot of fun... And Serena C was there to!! :P Got to meet her and get her autograph... yay!!
